To me, one of the most exciting parts about going back to school is getting to buy new stationery and starting everything fresh (it almost feels like you’ve gone through a cleanse). Because of this, I decided to make a list of my 5 Must Haves For Going Back To School! (It’s not just stationery).
At school I do 90% of my work on my laptop, mostly using Google Docs. However the good old fashioned pen and paper is a life saver! I picked up this cute notebook from Warehouse Stationery and I love the pattern so much, it’s simple yet very me. It has four sections, each colour coded, which is perfect for grouping each subject’s notes together. I also used post-it notes to make it easier to flick to each subject.
If you have been following me from the beginning (not actually that long ago) you would have seen my post about my customised bag! Yes, I still have it and yes I have even added more things to it. A customised bag is a must have for going back to school, especially if you go to a school that has a uniform because it gives you something to express yourself with.
I am a huge sucker for liquid lipsticks. They come in a huge range of colours and they last all day! This makes them perfect for school because you don’t have to worry about reapplying throughout the day. If you’re not into bright colours there are a lot of lovely neutrals to wear as well. I recommend the Kylie Jenner Lipkit or any of Jeffree Star’s collection.
A Positive Attitude
Not quite an actual object, but a positive attitude is definitely a must have for going back to school. Yes, going back to school can suck a lot but if you have a positive attitude about it it will make it 300x easier. Don’t focus on the negative things, focus on the positive things that you know make you happy.
This one might not be for everyone, but I highly recommend it. A diary is the best way to stay organised the whole school year. I got my diary from Typo, they have a huge range of them that everyone will love. You can write down every assignment, meeting, or anything else that’s due in your diary so you’ll never miss one.
